Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER AND/OR WIN. AN ENTRY MADE WITHOUT A PURCHASE HAS THE SAME CHANCES OF WINNING AS AN ENTRY MADE WITH A PURCHASE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The MetaMask Money Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by MetaMask, a product of Consensys Software Inc. (“Consensys” or "Sponsor"), operating the MetaMask product.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes will run for four (4) consecutive weeks, from September 17th, 2026 to October 15th, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes is divided into four (4) independent weekly draw periods of seven (7) days each (each, a "Weekly Draw").

3. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, this competition is open to all natural persons except employees of Consensys, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Sweepstakes.

Participation is open only to individuals who:

Are 18 years or older.
Register to participate via the MetaMask app and affirmatively opt in to the Sweepstakes on or before the opt-in deadline of October 15th, 2026.
Have only one entry per person (one participating MetaMask Rewards profile per individual).
Are actively participating in the Sweepstakes by making qualifying deposits into their MetaMask Money account during the Sweepstakes Period. This means (i) opting into the Sweepstakes, (ii) making a qualifying deposit of $100 USD or more into a MetaMask Money account during the Sweepstakes Period, and (iii) maintaining a Money account balance at or above $100 and remaining opted in through the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
Reside in a jurisdiction where participation in the Sweepstakes is lawful and not restricted, sanctioned, or otherwise prohibited by Consensys (“Eligible Jurisdictions”).
Comply at all times with MetaMask’s Terms of Use and all relevant laws and regulations.

Only qualifying deposits into Money accounts made via MetaMask during the Sweepstakes Period and conditional upon successful opt-in will be counted towards the Weekly Draws.

Deposits made before the Sweepstakes Period will not count towards the Weekly Draws. A single opt-in will automatically roll participants into all subsequent Weekly Draws for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Participants do not need to re-enrol for each weekly draw.

Participants who opt in after the start of the Sweepstakes Period will only be eligible for Weekly Draws occurring after their opt-in date.

Participation is based on a user’s MetaMask Rewards profile. Where a user has multiple wallet addresses associated with their profile, all qualifying deposit activity across those wallet addresses will be aggregated for the purposes of the Weekly Draws.

You may enter each weekly sweepstakes by either of the following methods:

No MetaMask Fee Method

No purchase is necessary to enter. During the Sweepstakes Period, fund your Money account by depositing $100 USD or more using the "Add Funds" flow in the MetaMask mobile app. Eligible MetaMask fee-free funding methods include converting eligible stablecoins into mUSD or depositing existing mUSD into your Money account. Users funding their Money account through this method will only pay the applicable blockchain network transaction fee.

Alternative Funding Method

You may also fund your Money account using other supported assets or payment methods. These funding methods may be subject to applicable MetaMask fees, transaction fees, and/or network fees. Paid methods are optional and are not required to enter or win. Paying any MetaMask fee or using a particular asset or payment method does not increase your chances of winning. All qualifying Money account deposits receive the same number of sweepstakes entries, regardless of the asset or payment method used.

Participants who maintain a Money account balance at or above $100 automatically earn one (1) entry for each full calendar day the balance is maintained, up to a maximum of seven (7) entries per Weekly Draw. Entries reset at the conclusion of each Weekly Draw, entries earned during one Weekly Draw do not carry forward into subsequent Weekly Draws.

In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Consensys may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and may disqualify you if you fail to provide such proof. This includes completing all required KYC/AML and account verification steps requested by Consensys.

Consensys reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Sweepstakes or if you fail to meet any qualification requirement, including any requirements under Section 5 - Claiming Rewards.

The Sweepstakes is not open to residents of the United Kingdom or the U.S. states of New York or Florida. In addition, the Sweepstakes is not available to residents of any other U.S. state or jurisdiction where the Sweepstakes, the MetaMask Money account, or mUSD is not offered, restricted, sanctioned, or otherwise prohibited, where promotions of this type are prohibited by law, or that Consensys designates as ineligible on the competition page.

By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Official Rules. If you have any questions, please contact notices@consensys.net. Consensys reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these Official Rules.

4. Reward Structure

Rewards are limited and are issued to eligible participants selected through each Weekly Draw. Consensys makes no guarantees regarding participant eligibility for specific prizes.

The prize pool for each Weekly Draw is based on total qualifying Money account deposit volume received during that Weekly Draw:

Guaranteed weekly prize pool: $2,000 USD in MetaMask USD (“mUSD”), regardless of deposit volume.
Maximum weekly prize pool: $5,000 USD in mUSD, unlocked in full once qualifying weekly deposit volume reaches $500,000 USD.
If the $500,000 weekly deposit threshold is not reached, the guaranteed prize pool of $2,000 applies.
Total maximum campaign prize pool: Up to $20,000 USD in mUSD across all four Weekly Draws.

Per-winner reward range: Minimum $1,000 / Maximum $2,500 per winner per Weekly Draw, depending on the final prize pool unlocked each week. All Reward amounts are expressed on a gross, pre-withholding basis; the amount actually distributed to a winner may be reduced by any applicable tax withholding.

Two (2) winners will be randomly selected per Weekly Draw from all eligible entries accumulated during that Weekly Draw. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Weekly Draw. Winners are limited to one (1) prize per person across the entire Sweepstakes. Once selected as a winner, participants are no longer eligible for subsequent Weekly Draws.

Consensys reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude certain deposits, transactions, wallet activity, or participants from the Sweepstakes, where it reasonably determines that such activity involves manipulation, wash trading, self-dealing, Sybil activity, market anomalies, technical errors, abusive behavior, or conduct inconsistent with the spirit of the Sweepstakes.

Consensys’ winner selections shall be final and binding absent manifest error.

Consensys may adjust, substitute, or modify the form of Rewards (e.g., fiat, stablecoins, or other digital assets) as reasonably necessary, and any such details will be disclosed on the Sweepstakes page.

Only accounts in good standing at the time of reward distribution are eligible to receive Rewards.

5. Claiming Rewards

To qualify for entry, individuals must opt-in via the MetaMask app sign-up for the Sweepstakes or any other designated external site notified by Consensys to you. Rewards will be notified via in-app notification via the MetaMask app and/or push notifications (if permitted).

Winners will be required to contact Consensys through a designated email address to initiate the reward claim process and provide any required information as outlined below.

All rewards must be submitted for claim by 5:00 PM CET on October 29th, 2026. Winners who do not initiate a claim by this date forfeit their reward. Entries received after the stated closing date or entries which are incomplete will not be accepted.

All rewards will be distributed in mUSD tokens to eligible wallets.

Receipt of any Reward is conditioned on the winner:

Completing any required identity, KYC, and sanctions screening;
Completing, signing, and returning all required tax forms (for example, Form W‑9, W‑8BEN, or local equivalents) within fourteen (14) days of request; and
Providing any additional information reasonably requested to enable Consensys to comply with its legal and tax obligations.

Rewards will only be distributed to wallet addresses that participated (deposited into Money accounts) in the Sweepstakes and are associated with the participant’s MetaMask Rewards profile at the time of participation.

Participants may not designate or request distribution of Rewards to any wallet address that did not participate in the Sweepstakes or is not associated with their MetaMask Rewards profile. Consensys reserves the right to verify wallet eligibility prior to distribution and may refuse or withhold Rewards where it reasonably suspects fraud, impersonation, or unauthorized access.

Consensys may withhold taxes from Rewards where required by law. Participants are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or other charges arising from receipt of a Reward. If a winner fails to complete required documentation or verification within the specified timeframe, the Reward may be forfeited, and Consensys may, but is not required to, reallocate such Reward.

Your participation or Reward may be refused, revoked, or forfeited if Consensys is unable, after reasonable efforts, to contact you using the details associated with your MetaMask registration.

6. Limitations & Fair Use

Participants must not engage in manipulative, abusive, or fraudulent behavior, including, without limitation: Sybil activity, coordinated deposits among related accounts, use of multiple accounts or wallet addresses to accumulate duplicate entries, or any attempt to artificially inflate deposit volume or entry count. Participants must not use multiple wallet addresses to attempt to claim duplicate rewards.

Consensys reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or any applicable MetaMask policies.

Consensys will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software of any kind.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Consensys reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Consensys’s control makes it necessary to do so.

The decision of Consensys regarding any aspect of the Sweepstakes or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Consensys reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend or amend the Sweepstakes where it becomes necessary to do so.

7. Data Privacy

By participating, you acknowledge that certain information (e.g., wallet address, email) may be collected for the purposes of reward delivery. To understand how Consensys Software, Inc. may process your personal information, please see Consensys’ Privacy Notice.

By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Consensys or its agents and suppliers to administer the Sweepstakes.

8. Disclaimer

Consensys (trading as MetaMask) is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or unclaimed rewards.

Insofar as is permitted by law, Consensys, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Consensys, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Inventory is limited, and Consensys makes no guarantees regarding participant eligibility for specific prizes.

Participation in the Sweepstakes and any funding activity you undertake does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation by Consensys. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and should carefully consider your financial situation and risk tolerance.

9. Governing law

All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Consensys reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

Consensys may modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time where necessary to comply with law or regulatory guidance, to address technical or security issues, or in response to fraud, abuse, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
