Perps Trading Competition

Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer

The Perps Trading Competition (“the Event”) is organized and operated by MetaMask, a product of

Consensys Software Inc. (“Consensys”). Perpetuals are powered by Hyperliquid which enable the

underlying trading of perpetuals in eligible regions (“Perps”).

2. Event Period

The Event will run for two (2) consecutive weeks, from June 9th, 2026 to June 23rd, 2026 (the

“Event Period”). Only trading activity occurring during the Event Period and conditional upon

successful opt‑in (see Section 3 - Eligibility) will be considered for ranking and rewards.

3. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, this competition is open to all natural persons except employees of

Consensys, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the

Event.

Participation is open only to individuals who:

● Are 18 years or older.

● Register to participate via the MetaMask app and afﬁrmatively opt in to the Event on

or before the opt-in deadline of June 23rd, 2026.

● Have only one entry per person (one participating MetaMask Rewards proﬁle per

individual).

● Are actively participating in the Event by trading Perpetual (Perps) products via

MetaMask during the Event Period. This means (i) completing a minimum of $25,000

in notional Perps trading volume (USD equivalent, inclusive of leverage, MetaMask

builder code only) during the Event Period, (ii) generating realized (closed) Proﬁt and

Loss (PnL) from qualifying trades executed via MetaMask, and (iii) remaining opted in

through the end of the Event Period.

● Reside in a jurisdiction where participation in the Event is lawful and not restricted,

sanctioned, or otherwise prohibited by Consensys (“Eligible Jurisdictions”). For

● Comply at all times with MetaMask’s Terms of Use and all relevant laws and

regulations.

Participation is based on a user’s MetaMask Rewards proﬁle. Where a user has multiple

wallet addresses associated with their proﬁle, all qualifying trading activity across those

wallet addresses will be aggregated for the purposes of ranking.

Only Perps trading activity conducted via MetaMask and tagged with the MetaMask builder

code during the Event Period and conditional upon successful opt-in will be counted

toward ranking. Your ranking is based on realized (closed) PnL from qualifying trades. That

means positions must be both opened and closed during the competition window to count.

Positions opened before the campaign or left open when the competition ends won’t count

toward your competition PnL.

In entering, you conﬁrm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may

win. Consensys may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Event and

may disqualify you if you fail to provide such proof. This includes completing all required

KYC/AML and account veriﬁcation steps requested by Consensys.

Consensys reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or

intention of the Event or if you fail to meet any qualiﬁcation requirement, including any

requirements under Section 5 - Claiming Rewards.

The Event is not available to residents of jurisdictions that Consensys designates as

ineligible on the competition page or where promotions of this type are prohibited by law.

By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you

to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these terms and

conditions.

4. Reward Structure

Rewards and experiences are limited and are issued to eligible participants based on ﬁnal ranking.

Consensys makes no guarantees regarding participant eligibility for speciﬁc prizes.

Participants will compete based on Total Realized (closed) PnL generated from qualifying Perps

trades during the Event Period.

Rankings will be determined based on Total Realized PnL (MetaMask builder code only) across all

wallet addresses associated with a participant’s Rewards proﬁle.

Consensys’ rankings shall be ﬁnal and binding absent manifest error.

At the end of the Event Period, the top twenty (20) participants will receive a share of a total

reward pool of up to US$50,000 in MetaMask USD (“mUSD”) (the “Rewards”). The ﬁnal reward pool

amount will scale based on total trading volume achieved during the Event Period, as described on

the Event page. The allocation by rank (for example, speciﬁc amounts for ranks 1–20) will be as

stated on the Event page. In the event of a tie in PnL, ranking will be determined by total notional

trading volume during the Event Period.

Consensys may adjust, substitute, or modify the form of Rewards (e.g., ﬁat, stablecoins, or other

digital assets) as reasonably necessary, and any such details will be disclosed on the Event page.

Only accounts in good standing at the time of reward distribution are eligible to receive Rewards.

5. Claiming Rewards

To qualify for entry, individuals must opt-in via the MetaMask app sign-up for the Event or any

other designated external site notiﬁed by Consensys to you. Rewards will be notiﬁed via in-app

notiﬁcation via the MetaMask app and/or push notiﬁcations (if permitted).

Winners will be required to contact Consensys through a designated email address to initiate the

reward claim process and provide any required information as outlined below.

All reward claims must be submitted by 5:00 PM CET on July 7, 2026. No rewards will be issued

after this deadline. Entries received after the stated closing date or entries which are incomplete

will not be accepted.

All rewards will be distributed in mUSD tokens to eligible wallets.

Receipt of any Reward is conditioned on the winner:

● Completing any required identity, KYC, and sanctions screening;

● Completing, signing, and returning all required tax forms (for example, Form W‑9,

W‑8BEN, or local equivalents) within fourteen (14) days of request; and

● Providing any additional information reasonably requested to enable Consensys to

comply with its legal and tax obligations.

Rewards will only be distributed to wallet addresses that participated (traded) in the Event and are

associated with the participant’s MetaMask Rewards proﬁle at the time of participation.

Participants may not designate or request distribution of Rewards to any wallet address that did

not participate in the Event or is not associated with their MetaMask Rewards proﬁle. Consensys

reserves the right to verify wallet eligibility prior to distribution and may refuse or withhold

Rewards where it reasonably suspects fraud, impersonation, or unauthorized access.

Consensys may withhold taxes from Rewards where required by law. Participants are solely

responsible for any taxes, duties, or other charges arising from receipt of a Reward. If a winner fails

to complete required documentation or veriﬁcation within the speciﬁed timeframe, the Reward

may be forfeited, and Consensys may, but is not required to, reallocate such Reward.

Your participation or Reward may be refused, revoked, or forfeited if Consensys is unable, after

reasonable efforts, to contact you using the details associated with your MetaMask registration.

6. Limitations & Fair Use

Participants must not engage in manipulative, abusive, or fraudulent behavior, including, without

limitation: wash trading, spooﬁng, self‑dealing, coordinated trading among related accounts, use of

multiple accounts, or any attempt to artiﬁcially inﬂate trading volume or portfolio performance.

Participants must not use multiple wallet addresses to attempt to claim duplicate rewards.

Consensys reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of

these terms and conditions or any applicable MetaMask policies.

Consensys will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in

transit, regardless of cause, including for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical

malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software of any kind.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Consensys

reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if

circumstances beyond Consensys’s control makes it necessary to do so.

The decision of Consensys regarding any aspect of the Event or competition is ﬁnal and binding

and no correspondence will be entered into. Consensys reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend

or amend the Event where it becomes necessary to do so.

7. Data Privacy

By participating, you acknowledge that certain information (e.g., wallet address, email) may be

collected for the purposes of reward delivery. To understand how Consensys Software, Inc. may

process your personal information, please see Consensys’ Privacy Notice.

By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held

and used by Consensys or its agents and suppliers to administer the Event.

Third-party providers supporting technical infrastructure (e.g., leaderboard functionality) will

process only publicly available on-chain wallet data and will not receive user-level identity or

account information.

8. Disclaimer

Consensys (trading as MetaMask) is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or unclaimed rewards.

Insofar as is permitted by law, Consensys, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances

be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage,

personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by

the negligence of Consensys, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory

rights are not affected

Inventory is limited, and Consensys makes no guarantees regarding participant eligibility for

speciﬁc prizes.

Participation in the Event and any trading activity you undertake does not constitute investment

advice or a recommendation by Consensys. You are solely responsible for your own trading

decisions and should carefully consider your ﬁnancial situation and risk tolerance.

9. Governing law

All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Consensys reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any

updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

Consensys may modify, suspend, or cancel the Event at any time where necessary to comply with

law or regulatory guidance, to address technical or security issues, or in response to fraud, abuse,

or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
